Communication with me will begin once a contact me form is filled out. I will reach out to you
through email to schedule a time for a consultation call. During a free consultation call, I will
introduce myself and my services, hear what you’re looking to work on, and we will both
decide whether or not it is a good fit to move forward. From there, we will choose a time to
schedule your intake session.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I’ll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing. Your active participation and dedication will be crucial to your success.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length and take place virtually through a link from Simple Practice. You will be sent Intake paperwork and the secure link prior to session via a secure email. Due to services being virtual, I will confirm your location prior to beginning each session. You will be required to be in a safe, comfortable, and confidential space for services.
I currently accept insurance through both Headway. During our consultation call, I
can input your insurance information to check your coverage if you haven’t already done so. If I am aware of any upcoming changes on insurances I accept, I will communicate that directly to you on the consult call.
I chose to open a fully virtual practice because I have seen first hand how accessible, convenient, and successful therapeutic relationships can be. It is important to know that virtual services are not for everyone.
My current working hours are Monday- Thursdays evenings and weekend sessions. My scheduling is subject to change. When you begin services, it is my preference that we begin at a weekly basis to focus on creating a strong therapeutic alliance. As time progresses, you may find yourself spreading out the frequency of your sessions.
As an outpatient therapist, my services are not intended for immediate crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a crisis or need urgent assistance, I encourage you to call 988 and/or 911 and/or proceed to the nearest emergency room. If any crises arise during your time working with me, it is an agreement between us that you utilize crises resources appropriately and immediately. When the crises stabilizes, we would have conversations regarding appropriate level of care and safety interventions.
