Most of my experience stems from working closely with pre-teens and teens who present with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, stress, sexual/gender identity, self-esteem, grief, divorced/separated parents, self-harm, suicidal ideations, among other issues. I also work with adults who present with anxiety, depression, grief, and are experiencing a variety of concerns such as identity, relational difficulties, trauma, life transitions, among other struggles. Additionally, I practice from a culturally responsive, trauma informed, person-centered approach, while incorporating solution-focused strategies, cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and other supports based on your personal needs.
I’m dedicated to helping you navigate the complexities of your story. I know the importance of connection in a therapeutic relationship, and it’s my main goal that you feel safety, compassion, and support. We will have a lot of really hard conversations, but we will also laugh a lot and celebrate your wins, no matter how small.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking my puppy Mabel, yoga and true crime. I love any reason to celebrate with others, especially if it includes live music, and I find the most joy through spending time with my friends and family.
